Camp 7 Day Camp is licensed for school age children.

We are available to campers 7-14 years old or your child must have completed first grade.

Interest Areas

Interest areas are activities that are chosen by each camper. During the week campers will go to and participate in their chosen Interest Area when available. Many of these activities are taught by a certified staff member. The goal of the Interest area program is to offer an activity where campers get the opportunity to learn a skill/activity from the ground up, from the fundamentals to proficiency in their chosen activity. Typically, awards are given out to those attending more than one week. Certified Interest Areas Include; Archery, Air Rifle, Horseback Riding, Swimming, and Watercraft. Non-Certified Interest Areas Include; Athletics, Camp Craft and Nature Explorers.

Open Period

Open period is a scheduled time where we give campers the opportunity to choose selected activities offered during that day. Many of these activities are theme based and also Interest Area activities. However, this is an opportunity where our staff can become very creative in their offerings, for instance, with a “stars and stripes” themed session. As an example, “Rocketry”, where the campers design and build  their own rockets from an “Estes” kit and launch the rockets in our athletic field during the overnight program. Great freedom and flexibility for the staff!!!

Group Activities

Group activities are designed for each counselor and his/her campers to participate in an offered activity together as a unit. Unlike “Interest Areas” and “Open Period”
offerings, where campers go to activities of their own choosing individually. Group activities will be another area where counselors can bring a creative touch to
the program and offer some incredible activities that the whole unit can engage in together.

All Camp Activities

Camp events are designed to engage the entire camp community together. This may be an activity at Camp 7 such as Capture the Flag, Water Olympics, Cardboard Boat Race, Lip Sync Battle or a field trip to Highline Reservoir.
